Abstract
THIS ARTCLE WAS ABLE TO SHOW THE EASIEST WAY OF ACHIEVING TEACHING/ LEARNING OF ARABIC LANGUAGE TO ITS TEACHERS AND LEARNERS, BY DISCUSSING SOME METHODS OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IDENTIFIED BY LANGUAGE OF TEACHING AS WELL AS LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES. THESE METHODS: GRAMMAR TRANSLATION, DIRECT,AUDIO-LINGUA, COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE TEACHING, SILENT WAY, WERE DISCUSSED WITH THE CONSIDERATION OF THEIR CONCEPTS, MERITS AND GUIDING RULES FOR USING FOR EFFECTIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF ARABIC LANGUAGE AS A FOREIGN TONGUE IN NIGERIA
