    Impact of Electronic Marketing Adoption On Organization Performance - Evidence From Nigerian Banking Industry

    This study investigated the impact of adoption of electronic marketing on organization performance with particular emphasis on Nigerian Banking Industry. The objective of the study was to examine the impact of electronic marketing on Bank performance. Primary data were obtained through the use of structured questionnaire administered to staffs of Gtbank Plc branches in Kwara State. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMCC) and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data with the aid of STATA 11.0 statistical computer software package. The result indicates that e-marketing adoption provides the bank with global outreach, increased sales volume, improved operational efficiency, competitive advantage and above all organization performance. The study concludes that with the rate of globalization in the 21stcentury, e-marketing adoption is germane in improving banks performance. This study recommends that other Nigeria bank and organization should adopt electronic marketing to improve their overall performance.

    ORGANISATIONAL CLIMATE AND ITS EFFECT ON EMPLOYEES' JOB SATISFACTION AND COMMITMENT

    The need to embrace the rising changes in the employment market place has made organisations to strive for committed employees and the absence of such breeds deficiency in job satisfaction and employees' commitment. The study was aimed at examining the effects of organisational climate and its effects on employee's job satisfaction and commitment of selected tertiary institutions in North Central, Nigeria. This study adopted a primary means of data gathering and a close ended questionnaire was designed to gather information. The study population was 3184 and a sample of 314 was taken out of a population with the aid of Krejcie and Morgan (1970) Table of Sample. Hence, this study revealed that organisational climate does have significant effect on job satisfaction and employees' commitment to job. Additionally, this study concludes that organisational climate through the adoption of reward, teamwork, training and development and autonomy has positive effects on commitment of academic staff. Lastly, this study recommends that universities in Nigeria especially in the North Central must ensure that adequate attention is given to organisational climate through reward, teamwork, training and development and autonomy to academic staff in order for employees to achieve impactful job satisfaction and commitment which will in turn affect the overall performance of the Institutions.

    Organizational Climate and Employees’ Productivity: An Evidence of Selected Federal Universities in North Central Nigeria

    Tertiary institutions in Nigeria especially in the North Central Region are increasing in number and the competition among them is also becoming stiffer and universities may not be paying enough attention organizational climate which in turn affects productivity of employees negatively. The study was aimed at examining the effects of organizational Climate on the productivity of employees of selected tertiary institutions in North Central, Nigeria. The study selected are University of Ilorin, Kwara State, University of Abuja, FCT, FUT Minna, Niger State and Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State. Also, the study employed the primary means of data gathering using questionnaire and a sample of 314 was taken out of a population of 3184 with the aid of Krejcie and Morgan’s Table of Sample. Hence, this study revealed that organizational climate does affect employees’ motivation and productivity through team work, reward, autonomy, training and development provided by the organization. Additionally, this study concludes that employees’ motivation and productivity are significant determinants of effective organizational climate. Lastly, this study recommends that organization should pay attention to issues surrounding its environment in order to attain improved employees’ motivation and productivity at large.

    Organizational Climate and its effects on the Performance of Nigerian Pharmaceutical Companies

    In a dynamic environment, numbers of organizations have failed in effectively managing the environment leading to deficiency in employees’ commitment and unpleasant performance in the sales of the organizations’ products. It is on this instance that this study aimed at examining the effects of organizational climate on the performance of Tuyil Pharmaceutical Company. Survey method was employed to describe how the independent construct affects the dependent. The study also has a population of 342 out of which a sample of 168 was selected from the employees of TPC using the Bartlett¸ Kotrlik and Higgins (2001) with .05 margin of error with p=.50 and t=2.58. Additionally, a close ended questionnaire with 5 Likert Scale point was employed in enquiring from the targeted respondents. The result of this study revealed that work environment and remuneration significantly affects the sales performance and employees’ commitment of the organization with Beta .369 and .000 significance level. Hence, this study concluded that organizational climate through work environment and remuneration of employees significantly affects the performance of TPC, Ilorin using sales performance and employees’ commitment as a measure. Lastly, the study recommended that efforts should be concentrated on improving the environment in which employees operate and the remuneration package should be reviewed upward so as to influence the commitment of staff and in turn affects the sale performance as projected.
