    EXPLORING THE NEXUS BETWEEN INNOVATION AND EMPL O. FROM NIGERI OYEE PERFORMANCE: EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FROM NIGEPE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

    This stud examined the impact of innovation mir on employee performance in Nigerian Manufacturing Industry: Survey research design was used in the study. Dataforthis research was obtainedfrom Primary sources through the aid ofa structured questionnaire. Krejche and Morgan formula were used to estimate the sample size. 368 copies of questionnaires were administered, out of which 309 were found to be usefulfor the analysis. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics of partial least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM). The hypotheses were tested at 0.05 alpha levels. Findings revealed that all the components of innovation mix (product, process, marker, organisalion) had significant relationship with employee. Based on the findings of this stuady the study concludead that innovation if well nurtured, encourage and fostered n an organisation will enhance employee performance. This paper recommended tnar organisations should continuously maintain, sustain and improve innovative practices sSince it is an indispensable toolfor improved employee performance
