dc.description.abstractAccountability and transparency are fundamental principles in public administration that contribute to good governance. This article explores the strategies and mechanisms that can enhance accountability and transparency in the public sector; this paper also discusses the challenges associated with accountability and transparency, the benefits they bring to public administration, and the best practices for implementation. Drawing on a comprehensive review of existing literature, case studies. The study underscores the importance of robust accountability and transparency mechanisms in promoting good governance and fostering trust between governments and citizens.
