dc.description.abstractThe increased diversity in today's world demands more attention is placed in work environments. Hence, the study examined the effect of workforce diversity on public service efficiency in Kwara State. The study used structured interviews to elicit information among top civil servants in Kwara State and responses were analyzed thematically using Nvivo 12 software, The study found that service efficiency of any public service organization would be conditioned by the level of education of the personnel in the public service. It therefore portrayed that level of education in the public service is key to performance. Organization should conisder the appointment of diversity managers who are saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that organizational efficiency is maintained.
