Analysis of hydromagnetic Williamson fluid flow over an inclined stretching sheet with Hall current using Galerkin Weighted Residual Method
(Elsevier Ltd, 2023-06-18) Adebowale, Martins Obalalu; Sulyman, Olakunle Salawu; Olalekan, Adebayo Olayemi; Olusegun, Adebayo Ajala; Kazeem, Issa
The current theoretical work addresses the Hall effect on three-dimensional non-Newtonian fluid flow past an inclined stretching sheet using a numerical scheme. The model also accounted for the impact of chemical reactions, activation energy, solar radiation, and heat generation or absorption. Therefore, the study is organized to examine and enhance energy efficiency. To achieve the model’s aims, the Galerkin Weighted Residual Method (GWRM) was adopted. The graphical findings revealed that: heat sink has a low thermal efficiency between 4.4% and 5.0% than heat source. Also, the Williamson fluid flow decreases via the magnetic field due to the Lorentz force in the opposite direction of the flow. Furthermore, the current work finds application in wire coating technology.
