      This paper explores the intersection of Islamic education and artificial intelligence (AI), delving into the prospects and challenges that arise in the AI era. The introduction establishes the relevanceof addressing this intersection, emphasizing the need to ensure the compatibility of technological advancements with Islamic principles. The prospects section examines how AI can enhance Islamic education, focusing on aspects such as personalized learning, global collaboration, and improved accessibility. Concurrently, the challenges section explores cultural considerations, ethical dilemmas, accessibility issues, and potential biases in AI algorithms. The methodology includes primary sources through in-depth oral interviews with beneficiaries and community leaders and secondary sources such as textbooks and journals, aiming for a holistic understanding of the ethical dimensions of support initiatives within the context of Islamic principles. This research endeavors to explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Islamic education, aiming to assess its impact, identify prospects and challenges, and propose ethical guidelines. It also seeks to understand the cultural and ethical dimensions, examine practical challenges, and offer practical recommendations to guide the responsible implementation of AI in Islamic education. The research aims to offer valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders navigating the convergence of AI and Islamic education. The paper concludes by presenting strategies, case studies, and a discussion on emerging trends, contributing valuable perspectives to guide those involved in the intersection of AI and Islamic education.

    Promoting Lifelong Learning Through Islamic Values: The Role of Muslim Women in Child Upbringing

    This study explores the role of Muslim women in promoting lifelong learning through the lens of Islamic values, particularly in the context of child upbringing. Drawing on Islamic teachings and educational philosophy, this research addresses the gap in understanding how Muslim women contribute to lifelong learning within the framework of Islamic values in the context of child rearing in Nigeria. It also aims to highlight the critical role that Muslim women play in shaping children's educational foundations and the impact of their efforts in fostering ongoing learning throughout their lives. By examining the experiences and perspectives of Muslim women in various educational settings, it seeks to uncover the unique challenges and opportunities they face in upholding Islamic values and promoting lifelong learning among children, using an in-depth analysis of data, a descriptive-analytical approach, and a historical and descriptive methodology. This research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how Muslim women can effectively promote lifelong learning through Islamic values in child upbringing. The findings of this study have implications for educational policies and initiatives that aim to promote lifelong learning and empower Muslim women to play a vital role in shaping future generations. The recommendations derived from this study may include encouraging collaboration between educational institutions and Islamic scholars to integrate Islamic values into formal education curricula.

    Prospects of Poverty Alleviation through Zakat and Waqf in Islam: Lessons for Northern Nigeria

    Northern Nigeria is a Muslim dominated part of the country. Despite all the resources committed by the government in pursuit of achieving Zakat and Waqf noble objectives and different policies, embarked upon to combat poverty in the country, the realization remains a mirage in Northern Nigeria. The effectiveness of the various methods chosen in bringing about the changes has remained a question begging for answer. However, This paper, in an effort to explore opportunities, avenues and policies for making positive contributions to national development has posited that, through Zakah and Waqf every individual in the society is assured of minimum means of livelihood, The potential roles of two Islamic institutions; Zakat and Waqfin poverty eradication are herein discussed as well as how Islam uses them among others to achieve the goals. The paper attempts to define a new approach to poverty analysis and suggests a way to make the role of Zakat and Waqf more effective in the poverty reduction. The paper is analytical with presentation based on survey of relevant literature, with a view of adding to existing literature as well as synthesizing opposing views on the socio-economic role of Zakah and Waqf, also the process of their revitalization in the modern time. It concludes with other useful suggestions and recommendations for Nigerian Government and Muslims especially the Northern part.

    The Role of Shari ’ ah-Compliant Banking in Nigeria’s Economic Growth and Development

    This research delves into the impact of Islamic banking, guided by Shari ah principles, on Nigeria's economic advancement. Recognizing its emergence as a pivotal alternative to conventional finance, this study investigates its theoretical foundations, practical implementation, and tangible contributions to Nigeria's economic growth. It meticulously analyses the core principles, such as the avoidance of interest and speculative practices, and contrasts them with traditional banking methods. The evolution of Islamic banking within Nigeria is traced, highlighting its role in expanding financial access, supporting small businesses, funding infrastructure through Islamic bonds, and fostering macroeconomic stability. Despite its potential, the sector grapples with regulatory hurdles, limited public understanding, and liquidity challenges. This analysis also identifies growth prospects, including rising demand for ethical financial solutions, government backing, and the integration of financial technology. Recommendations are offered to strengthen Islamic banking, focusing on policy improvements, public education, the development of diverse financial instruments, and investment in skilled personnel. By examining these factors, this research aims to illuminate the future trajectory of Islamic banking in Nigeria, underscoring its potential to drive sustainable economic progress.
