    THE EFFICACY OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL ARABIC CURRICULUM IN KWARA STATE, NIGERIA

    Teaching experience among other variables is considered to be crucial for effective implementation of educational curriculum. This study was designed to assess the efficucy of reachers' experiences in the classroom activities towards implementing the Senior Secondary School Arabic curriculum in Kwara State, Nigeria. Twenty teachers of Arabic in the schools found implementing the Senior Secondary Arabic curriculum as at the time of this study were observed across the State. A researcher-designed observation checklist was used to assess and interpret the observation of the teachers' classroom activities. The variables of procedure and process of the teachers' classroom activities were observed in the study. Six research questions were generated. Five research hypotheses were tested at the 0.05 level of significance. Frequency counts and means indices were used to answer the research questions, while the student t-test statistics was used to test the hypotheses. The results showed, among other findings, that the experienced teachers excelled above the less-experienced teachers in the classroom activities. It was recommended that the less-experienced teachers should not hesitate to request the assistance and guidance of the experienced teachers to effectively improve on Arabic curriculum implementation.
