    ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND POVERTY REDUCTION EVIDENCE FROM AKURE AND OSOGBO CITIES, SOUTH-WEST NIGERIA

    This research examined the relationship between the entrepreneurship development and poverty reduction with the use of employed correlation research design. The total sample consists of 120 blacksmith participant in Akure and Osogbo cities in South western region, Nigeria. Questionnaire used to obtained data from 120 respondent and the study shows that there is relationship between and poverty reduction.It recommended that entrepreneurial skills center should set up in all major cities by government to boost entrepreneurial skills among youth.Not only that,government should expand it intervention in all nooks and crannies in our society to reduce poverty.
