Abstract
The interdisciplinary study provide a comprehensive analysis of the impacts of climate changes . environmental challenges and livelihood resilience in Ilorin Metropolis, across key sectors including biodiversity, human health ,tourism and the economy, Emphasizing the the interconnections of these sectors, the overview underscores the urgent need for global collaboration and innovation strategies. The study objectives include understanding the perception of climate change in the study area, assessing the basic environmental challenges in the study area, assess the impacts of climate change on the environmental challenge and determine how residents adapts and adsorb to environmental challenge in the study area .Discussions encompasses vulnerabilities and threats posed by climate change. with a focus on the adoption renewable energy afforestation innotivative and promoting role ofn biochar .How ever the study and livelihood resilience in IIorin metropolis whch reveal a significant awareness and concern among residents regarding the impacts of climate change , with a majority recognizing the role of human activies in exacerbating these changes and recomendations propose sustainable practices ,policy development and adaptation planning.
